Since the body is likened to a machine, it’s vital that it has a chance to rest time to time. For a body to rest, a fast needs to be done on a regular basis. There are multiple methods that one can choose to ensure their body is healthy. There’s a water, vegetable and fruit juice fast, in addition to fruit and vegetable only fasts. For a body to heal itself, a fast should be done at least once a week.

The colon is the important part to keep in mind while doing the cleansing process. If the colon is clean then for the most part, so is the rest of the body, so an enema may be of some help. A less invasive way would be to eat foods that are fiber rich that will keep the gastro- intestinal clean.

Since the body is constantly going though physical and mental stresses on a regular basis, it’s a good idea to do a full body cleanse. The best way to accomplish having a body free of toxins is to drink water. Your body will be happy and thank you for the body cleanse in the long run.
