It’s Possible To Find Your Favorite Animated Movie Stars In Southern California
June 27, 2009 by Jason58
In recent months I’ve had the chance to go to most of the seven major theme parks in So Cal. If you would like to see some of the beloved animated movie and TV characters “live” these parks are the place for you.
Of course Disneyland is the first park that comes to mind, with Dumbo, Mickey, Goofy and the others. Check out the SoCal Vacation Guru for useful information and tips from locals about a vacation at Disneyland. Who doesn’t love the wonderful job Disney has done in creating a fictional universe of lovable characters?
Knott’s Berry Farm is not far from Disneyland, and you can continue your movie star hunt by visiting Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts clan. Charlie Brown, Linus and the others fit nicely into the personality of Knott’s Berry Farm.
Universal Studios up in Hollywood would be a good next stop in your vacation, where you can chill with the likes of Homer Simpson, the Flintstones and Rubbles, Betty Boop and Spiderman. Plan out your trip to the crazy characters at the Universal Studios theme park by doing a little research with the SoCal Vacation Guru.
The final stop in the character caravan would be up I-5 an hour or so, to Six Flags Magic Mountain. According to the SoCal Vacation Guru, Six Flags is best known for its roller coasters and other thrill rides. But skulking around the place are the nutty characters of Warner Brothers cartoons, notably the Looney Tunes guys.
You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. There’s a nice area just for small children; the park management has figured out that not everyone is a teen-age or twenty- something thrill ride fanatic. You won’t have to go too far to find a couple of the Looney Tunes folks here and there in the park.
