Uses of Phentermine and Its Potential Risks
November 27, 2008 by AnxietyAttack
Phentermine is the generic name for Adipex. Phentermine should be taken no less than one hour before your meal, always on an empty stomach. Because Phentermine is a long-lasting medication, it must be swallowed in its entirety. It should not be crushed or chewed; because doing so can hamper its effectiveness and could cause additional side effects. You should not take a pill in the evening because it may cause sleeplessness.
Phentermine should be taken only as prescribed and should not be taken longer than directed. It is most commonly prescribed for 8-12 weeks. It is not recommended that it be used together with other appetite suppression prescriptions. Your doctor should be consulted before using Phentermine.
